Sliding Doors is a local charity that offers social activities and worthwhile volunteering opportunities for people with disabilities, learning difficulties and
those who may feel lonely and isolated. Our community hub located in Mill Hill Community Centre Blackburn provides a safe & friendly home from home environment which is accessible to all.
Everyone is welcome to attend to engage in activities or just to have a brew and meet other people.

An opportunity for people to get together, make new friends and engage in activities such as Board Games, Bingo or Singing.

Lads Group

For young men with additional needs. A wide range of activities such as X Box, Pool, Bowling and trips to outdoor activity centres.

A group for young people over the age of 18 with additional needs. A safe space to engage in activities such as Wii, Cooking, Gardening and trips out.

Thursday Night is Party Night @The Blues Bar. Ewood Park.
Our flagship social evening for those who are isolated, or just want a safe night out to meet others and have fun. Music, karaoke, bingo & raffle. Bar open to purchase drinks.
We have lots of people aged 18-85 coming together to have a great night out. Open to everyone aged
18 and over. £3.00 entry fee. Bingo & raffle 50p extra each.
We also run one off sessions including some evening and weekends. Information and advice session are also held at the hub
